• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got all my blood work done yesterday. I managed to not pass out this time so that was good. Been feeling a bit dizzy and really exhausted. That could be because of my new dose of meds. Have a big bruise where I got blood drawn and feeling really sore and exhausted. Thank you for all your prayers and for your cousin's prayers as well. I really really appreciate it. I am so glad that the blood work is done though...so some of that anxiety has passed.

Hi, there! I'm so glad you got through the blood work okay. I got a huge bruise the last time I had mine done, too. Do you regularly get exhausted when you go out? I usually do, and it takes me several days to recover. I think I told you about my electric heated throw that I cover myself with in my recliner and have my two little dogs sit with me. They are so sweet and loving. Both of my dogs are teacup poodles. Charlie is 5 lbs. and is silver grey, Emily is white and is 3 lbs.

I am continuing to pray for you. It's part of my everyday prayers, so I am thinking of you all throughout the day. Let me know how you're doing. ((Hugs))

I'm really upset and really am working through a lot of feelings right now. My abuse and neglect class is bringing up a lot of feelings and Im trying to process them the best I can. Normally I pass out when I get blood drawn, which when I pass out it really sucks all the energy and strength out of me. I think in general though just getting blood drawn can make you feel a bit exhausted. Life just seems so confusing right now...and it feels like I can't trust anyone...not even my best friend.
