  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Psalters... They incorporate what is known as 'temple music'... music that would be traditionally played in the Temple... with modern styles and instruments from all around the world. They call themselves 'pslaters' because they believe they are writing pslams for this generation. Very very passionate music.

Kevin Prosch is a christian worship leader who has worked a lot with messianic groups and his musical styles are also very ecclectic. He and his band have traveled around the world studying methods and techniques from different tribes and cultures and then using their instruments in his worship. Often his music will gain slowly, much akin to modern Emo music, and after the climax/crescendo it will crash into a very emotial, almost crying, state of intimacy.
It's very beautiful... and you can check him out at:

I especially love these two bands not only for their musical styles, but also because their music is less focused on dogma/doctrine and more on emotional outpouring and expression.

Shalom and shalom ya'all.
