Here is a psalm of praise we had to write for my Bible study a while back. I ended up writing a LOT of stuff but here is just one for now. I hope you like it. God bless.

PSALM #1
I might do Your will
But it is with an angry face
I whine and complain
Telling all that I hate this place
I say help me Jesus
Help me to get out of here
I think of myself only
But never seem to see me in the mirror
Where I am is where
You want me to be right now
And to look beyond where I am
Is to go to ruin and wonder, how?
If I set my eyes and thoughts
Upon You Lord God and Your ways
I will be happy no matter what
Or where I spend all of my days
You are the King, the Sovereign God
You are the Lord on high
None is greater; none is wiser
And Your Kingdom draws blissfully nigh
Hallelujah we shout
Hallelujah we praise
Hallelujah to the Lord of hosts
Who will forever amaze
I seek first Your Kingdom
Lord of my life and soul
And Your joy will fill me
Like the faithful widow’s bowl
Fill me forever, Lord
Never let me down
You are the King of kings
And I bow only to Your holy crown

Wow, this is really good! honest and straight to the point the only lasting happiness is in christ and him only.
