Psalm Sunday

Ok, so it's not Sunday. I participated in this on another board and thought I'd open it up to you wonderful folk.

I know there are many creative minds here and Id love to see your creativity in writing. Heres what I want you to dowrite a Psalm. You can make it a couple of lines or a whole psalm. You can even make it a prayer to our Lord! When you are writing it, you are glorifying Jesus Christ our Lord and God, and it is an expression of worship to Him! It is not that hard. Just TRY IT please! If you don't know how to write one, go to the book of Psalms and read a few of them, they will give you inspiration!

To you my Lord I send up my Psalm of praise.

You alone, my Protector, have given me reason to worship you.

Father, you are my Protector when Im afraid, my Comforter when I am alone and my Shield against those against me.

You are there whenever and wherever I need you.

You have been there when Ive fallen and when Im down.

You have been there when my life seems like and endless tumult of worries.

You have been there when the sun is warm on my cheek and also when the snow is bitter against my skin.

When I call on your Precious name, I know you are there.

You have given me light in the darkness. You are the giver of light in my dark world.

Father, whenever I call your name, you give me peace.

Thank you my Father for my life, my breath, my peace, my joy in all that I do and all that I am.

Thank you for faithfully being with me even when I am unfaithful to you.

Thank you for all the blessings I have and for all that I dont realize.

Lord, giver of all things, you have blessed my life.

Thank you God for the most precious gift you have given me, your Son.

When you speak peace I feel it in my soul.

I see you in all of nature. In a babys smile, in a friends hug, in a fragrant flower, in the fury of a storm, in the calm of a spring day, in the wind, in the rain, in the entire world around me there is You.

Thank you Father for all you do.

God of all of Heaven and earth, protect my brother and sister Christians, both here and around the world.

Give me the courage and strength to stand up against my foes and to never forsake you.

O Lord, who am I that you would love me? Yet thou hast loved me with an enduring love.
Though I was without merit, a wretched man;
You brought me up from the depths of despair'
and caused me to follow after thy heart.
You've cleansed me with your blood and
set my feet on solid ground.
You've removed the stony heart that was in me,
and given me a desire to follow your leading.
All honor and glory are to you O Lord and I
will sing your praises forever. Amen

YHWH is great!
He is worthy of all praise.
His works are marvelous,
He has created the earth and everything in it.
His Word is true,
It refreshes the soul.
His Law is good,
Doing His will is a delight.
His mercies are everlasting,
He blesses all who love Him.
YHWH is great,
He alone is worthy of all praise.
