Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. <-----> Psalm 68:1-4

When Moses asked God's name at the burning bush, God answered "I AM THAT I AM", tell them "I AM" has sent you.
Notice though that God defected his question somewhat...but since then "I AM", was held to be God's name, in Hebrew it is written without the vowels, but is most likely YAHWEH, with YAH or JAH being a shortened form (the y's become j's in English), but Jehovah is not a really sound rendering, from what I've studied non-Hebrew scholars decided to intersperse vowels from elohim and Adonai (two other names or titles for God), between the Hebrew consonants YHWH, or YWVH (since the Hebrews counted the name so sacred it was kept secret from most which lead to some uncertainty over it), but YAHWEH clearly has two syllables, while Jehovah has three, and names tend to lose syllables over time, not gain them. So ironically some who make a big fuss over Jehovah, are likely ascribing a poor rendering of a name which was somewhat more a deflection than a direct answer to begin with...
But as was said already, it is The One Who Is Being Represented that matters most, though studying what those names are associated with can be helpful.
I imagine that if God were to speak His Name without deflection, to us mere (sinful) mortals, that either we could neither hear nor pronounce it, or we would all be instantly disintegrated by the force and the frequency with which it would be uttered, or both !
Also in The New Testament we are given -
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. <-----> Acts 4:10-12
But upon studying the name Jesus Christ we find that Je stands for JAH, and sus for salvation, with Christ meaning Anointed One or Messiah.
So Jesus Christ is more of a title than an ordinary name, which means YAH's or YAHWEH's Salvation through His Anointed One.
May The Name of The Lord Be Praised !
