  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

“though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me”

The Lord actually tests us during the night, specifically in dreams.

What I am about to share is intimate and I would like to share this to you my fellow brothers and sisters. To encourage you.

So, I have been dreaming of snakes on the ground before and I usually express fear.
Another is how I react to people who hurt me which is also in a way of dreams. This bothered me the most.

One night I dreamt of snakes on the ground again, and I decided to face my fear in my dream and destroyed the snakes. I never had a dream like that ever again.

The second one I wasn’t able to resolve in my dream, but when I woke up, I decided not to repay the person’s ill-will towards me if I ever encounter that dream again.
Now, I never get those dreams.

We all have individual paths to take in our walk with the Lord and I pray that we all finish the race.

God bless!

I am glad you managed taking authority in your dream, especially when it is done through Jesus Christ's Name. :)

I had a very vivid dream once which felt more like an attack to 'cause fear within me, I awoke from it, went to the bathroom, then when getting back to bed I decided taking authority in Jesus Christ's Name towards it. I got back in sleep and got into another dream where I saw a neighbour lady who was possesed by a demon, and I was telling the demon to leave in Jesus's Name. At first she started throwing things at me in anger, but I continued telling the demon to leave in Jesus's Name, and then suddenly it calmed down and the dream disappeared, and I could sleep on peacefully.

I also want to add I didn't think of psalm 17:3 that way as how you described it, though God sees our thoughts and hearts, so there is no wonder He would also look at our dreams.

As well as the enemy uses our dreams as a way to get to us as well, nothing above anything which we cannot handle, as God wouldn't permit more than what we are capable of managing.

Thanks for sharing this. I am reading through psalms these days, and I find everything so profound and inspiring. I can't take in everything just once! It is certainly no "just-one-time" read! ;) :love2:
