As Secure as the Pupil of God's Eye - the apple of His Eye, as written in Scripture and in harmony with all Scripture TODAY !
SHALOM, SHALOM TO ISRAEL and all the households there who call on ADONAI !
HALLELUYAH !
Amen.
I do pray for the peace of Israel, along with my other prayers each day.
But I am reminded of some Bible verses. The first verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14, “…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
These words, and the need for repentance, are, I believe so important for Israel, and not just for Israel, but for the United States and countries around the world where we see things falling apart in so many unrighteous ways.
The Bible says that unless the Lord guards the city, the watchmen watch in vain. What causes the Lord to watch over the city? He says obedience.
Israel, the United States, and so much of the world in general, have become incredibly secular, and not only that, are not uncommonly following pagan practices which are absolutely forbidden in the Bible.
So my first prayer is that there will be a call for repentance, followed by true repentance for the citizens of Israel, and around the world.
Honestly, I don’t really believe that Israel or the United States or other nations are going to repent. My personal feeling is that these are the last days where unrighteousness will abound more and more.
But, whether in Israel, or anywhere else in the world, I also believe that if we as individuals repent, and strive always to be obedient more and more, then we can have the Lord to watch over us and guard us.
And I will add something else. The history of Israel does indeed show the Almighty protecting her. Part of the time. When she was turning to him with repentance.
The history of Israel also shows that over and over the nation would go after pagan ways and experience things like captivity from other nations, famine, and plagues. The Lord himself sent the invading nations and other disasters.
If anyone reads Deuteronomy 28, they will see the whole history of Israel prophesied by Moses about 3000 years ago.
Moses prophesied many terrible things for Istael due to their falling away from the Lord in many ways, but said that in the end a remnant, as always a remnant only, will be saved.
