Happiness makes you smile
a kind answer soothes angry feelings
a true friend will keep a secret
stay away from dishonest dealings.

You will say the wrong thing if you talk too much.
Wise friends will help you grow wiser
don’t ever think you are wise enough
share your plans with the Lord, your adviser.

Better to be honest and poor
than to be dishonest and wealthy.
Telling lies will get you in trouble
do not be sneaky and stealthy.

Do not ever give up your faith and hope.
Respect and obey the Lord.
Do not try to get even
for vengeance will come from His sword.

Don’t argue just to be arguing.
Obey what your parents tell you
honor your father and mother
no matter what other kids do.

These are just some of the things
that reading the Bible can teach you.
Spend time in His Word everyday
it pleases the Lord when you do.
