Luke 1:34-35 New King James Version (NKJV)If you don't accept the Nicene Creed, you're not permitted to post here.
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Luke 1:34-35 King James Version (KJV)
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Is this an issue for the "right to life" movement?
Consider:
Genesis 2:7 New King James Version
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
Life began the instant the breath of life came through the nostrils and reached the brain. Does this not define the moment that life begins is with the severing of the umbilical cord and the infant breathes its first breath on its own? Not to say that interrupting God's development of the fetus isn't sin, but judging women and doctors as murderers isn't scriptural is it?
