There is too much missing information to "convince" me that we came from apes. I could also come up with a new theory that apes mated with parrots which is why we evolved and can now speak.

First of all I worship God. The bible is simply a book with his words, nothing more.
His words as in "He wrote them Himself," or His words as in "This is what what's-his-name said that that guy told us that God told this other fellow..." (Translated five times over, of course)
Secondly if you believe in evolution and still call yourself a Christian then your not truely a Christian because you deny Christ. How can you follow a theory that goes against creation?

creation. They're arguing against
Creationism. Kindly learn the difference before you embarass yourself further.
Second, since you're new here, you need to know that publicly questioning anyone's Christian beliefs is a violation of forum rules. It's considered flaming. Acquaint yourself with those rules, lest you get banned before you have a chance to learn something here.
To everyone else I said that I would only use the bible. It was more in a reference that I wouldn't use other Christian sites for my arguments. If you feel that you would like to provide evidence/science against the bible then please provide it.
Hey, if choose only to listen to
half of what God has revealed, that's your business. But don't expect anyone else to similarly handicap themselves for your benefit. God's second work, the creation itself, could simultaneously complement the Bible and refute an Uberliteral interpretation of it.
But also make sure that it is factual and not fictional. Simply stating that I should go read a book is meaningless since I have stated that I would use the "bible" to disprove any evidence.

I have read studies on evolution and find it rather odd that scientist/evolutionist can believe in somthing with so many holes in it.
From what's you've said in this very post, it doesn't sound like you're read much. And thanks to the ludicrous "rules" you've put into play, you have no intention of reading any further.
Making remarks of false idols or how that we have had this "conversation before" doesn't prove anything. I have an open mind and I'm willing to look up anything that anyone provides as long as it's not a theory.
