  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

 My Wife and I are so proud of our oldest girl Courtney. Her teacher told my wife this morning that Courtney is reading at first grade level. By the way she is in Kindergarden and this is her very first year in School she was not able to go to Pre School or Head Start. We pray over our daughters daily and nightly, and God is answering our Prayers. Courtney's teacher was bragging about her all day to other Teachers, yes we also pray for her Teacher and class mates. Our youngest  (Hannah) is 3 and is right on track in following her sisters footsteps. We thank God for this . So for all the parents who have children in school   Pray for them it pays. And thank God daily and nightly for the blessings you will receive.

You know something... the question was posed to me the other day, and it's very true....

Why is it that parents always get the blame when the children are bad, but they never are really attributed with the good kids? I mean I know there's times but just in general :) Just a thought.... :)

Praying does pay! I know you are very proud of your girls. I have three boys, two who have asthma. My middle child is in fifth grade and has just been accepted into Jr. Beta Club. As sickly as he has been, he has maintained a star honor roll statue every six weeks since kindergarten! I am proud of all of mine, but he has had some really tough hurdles to overcome and he certainly has done it.

>>We pray over our daughters daily and nightly

That is wonderful. We started to pray for our son, before he was even born, and I can really tell a difference that the prayer makes. He is strong and healthy and intellegent. His mom has been praying for him to be able to sing, and he seems to be real good in that area also. Today when I picked him up from his pre school, the teacher said her voice was a little off today, and that our son lead the other kids in singing a song.

When we start to run into problems with him, I know that I have let up on our prayers and we need to get serious before God to pray more for him.

((Why is it that parents always get the blame when the children are bad, but they never are really attributed with the good kids?))

A good teacher should know that parents are very protective of their children. Often a parent will really treasure a child. They do not take kindly to teachers who are critical of their kids or the way they are raising their kids. So a good teacher needs to be sensitive to this and be sure to say good things to the parents about their child. Then if a problem does come along, the parents will be a lot more willing to work with the teacher to resolve the problem.

The Power of a praying parent book says: If you are not lifting your children up to God every day, in every aspect of their lives, you are leaving them and their lives up to chance!

Since I read this book, and have truly started to PRAY over my children about EVERYTHING...the change is just awesome!

Praise the Lord DavidD, you should be proud, for in listening to your Father in Heaven, and doing the job correctly, that he gave you to do, you are, your DAUGHTER is reaping great rewards. PRAISE THE LORD!
