While I also find the proposed design offensive and stupid, I take issue with how many bigoted commenters on blogs and news site are attacking/blaming South Korea and all of its citizens and calling for boycotting Korean goods, pulling our military out, ending trade with the country, etc. It is especially ridiculous since it's a Dutch-based design and one that hasn't been set it stone yet (not to mention that the design more than likely won't go through considering the controversy it has caused).

Frankly, I think it looks pretty cool myself. Actually, given that they're connected, I think it looks very, very cool.

I didn't care for it at first, though there was another picture taken from above, and seeing all the cloud area being used for roof top gardens really did make it look impressive.

Are you looking at the same picture as the rest of us? I showed the picture to my wife on a mobile phone and she thought it WAS the twin towers.

Mind you, she's not the brightest bulb on the tree.

Actually it was the big blowy-up bit in the middle of both towers which is exercising people. Seriously, this is why I was wondering whether you were looking at the same picture.

And yes, it was a bit harsh on my wife but after 40 years she's used to my kindly abuse.
