i thought it would be nice to hear how people were proposed too

here is my story

My husband and i meet on the 96five chat room (96.5 is a christian radio station). we also meet one of the hosts and became good friends with her so when he decided to propose he went to our friend and organized to propose on the air during one of her shows. its was so great. he told all our friends and family about it so they were all tuned in. my dad was late for a meeting so that he could hear it. even the people in the office at our church had the radio on. when it came on he got down on the floor (we were on the futon) and pulled the ring out.

the ring is another story all together. we had been talking about getting engaged but had decided to wait. anyway i was wanting to get a ring for myself just something simple and one day we were at the shops and we were looking in a jewlery store and i saw this bridal set and they got me to try it on and stuff and im like yeah i realy like it and stuff and i knew he wanted an idea of what i liked for when we did get engaged so i though nothing of it. well with out me knowing he went back the next day and laybuyed it. so i chosse my ring wthout even knowing it
