I often hear it asked,"Why isn't America in Bible Prophecy." I think it is. I think Americans don't want to accept that this Country might have two horns like a lamb but speak like a dragon.

America could be modern day Babylon or the Country called the daughter of Babylon in the scriptures. This is a young Country that has a mother(Britain) and will turn into Sodom and Gommorah. The sins of this Country will be great but for a time it would be a safe haven for Jews and they will prosper in this daughter of Babylon.

6 “Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord. 7 “Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.”

-Zechariah 2:6, 7; Land of the North clearly reveals that the Daughter of Babylon is a physical Nation among the world associated to a direction where she lies. This Nation also has Zion held captive if Elohim is telling Zion to escape her. Also if she is considered a daughter, then this Nation will likely have a mother country she came from.

-Jeremiah 51:6–8; This Nation has sway over the whole Earth and the rest of the Nations, this indicates that she will be a powerful Nation among the world. She will be destroyed suddenly, this passage ends with a potential hope for her healing. Some may be confused that this could be talking of the ancient Babylon, go back and read verses 1–5 in this chapter, you will see that both Israel and Judah are spoken of in verse 5. We know that ancient Babylon took captive the Jews (House of Judah) but only the few remnant left of the House of Israel from the Assyrian captivity. The next time Israel and Judah are seen together is the end times, both of them captive in the Daughter of Babylon so we know this is an end time prophecy.

What happens if 1% of the American Christians are conspiracy followers instead of Christ followers?

Numbers 3 and 5 are no longer true for USA. That goes to China now.

However I do think USA may be the place of refuge for the woman with eagle's wings. USA began as a place of refuge for religious freedom. Today it is not as free, but another civil war could change that.

I suspect USA will see a drastic population reduction in the near future. Either from civil war, invasion, plague, or emigration. This would then make it a wilderness.

But we will see what happens.

Hi I know some good teachers who have held on the the idea started in the 70's and 80's that America is not is prophecy and at that time the assumption was the EU would rise and we would collapse and the new super state EU would dominate. Now as we see global government attempting to be forged the EU is really in the same mess as the US and most of the nations is they are bankrupt and in debt to the same organized cabal of central bankers. In Rev Babylon when it was destroyed is noted for a few things. One is the merchants weep for there is no one left to buy from them and they had been made rich through trading with her. IF you look up the US trade deficits and look at all the large exporting cities of the world those merchants made their money trading with the USA.
Now many good prophecy teachers expect literal Babylon in Iraq to come back and take this part but I ask myself are those trading nations already rich and the answer is yes. Irag GDP is about the same as Fresno CA. If we need to wait for Iraq to rise than the tribulation is a long ways off but it seems every other sign is converging and accelerating. If you read the rest in Rev about Babylon they got he rest of the nations to commit spiritual fornication with them. They also exported all sorts of evil. I won't go into detail but right now this show fits the USA>

The problem with such guessing is that it would fit every influential nation with large economy. It would fit Russia in Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, it would fit Europe during the colonial era, it fits the USA today and it will fit China or India tomorrow.

And of course, it fits the historical Roman empire, too. And it woud also fit nations before the Revelation was written (Greece, Babylonia, Persia, Egypt...).

The imagery of Revelation can be applied here or there throughout the whole history, because the patterns are still repeating. Just the fact that it fits does not mean it is the end of days. But some people simply need to believe the world will end soon. It perhaps makes the life more interesting to them.

Who do you think is the daughter of Babylon?

This is America.

The term “Babylon” is derived from “Babel,” and signifies confusion. It is employed in Scripture to designate the various forms of false or apostate religion. In Revelation 17 Babylon is represented as a woman—a figure which is used in the Bible as the symbol of a church, a virtuous woman representing a pure church, a vile woman an apostate church.

Babylon is said to be “the mother of harlots.” . . . The message of Revelation 14, announcing the fall of Babylon applies to religious bodies that were once pure and have become corrupt.

I often hear it asked,"Why isn't America in Bible Prophecy." I think it is. I think Americans don't want to accept that this Country might have two horns like a lamb but speak like a dragon.

America could be modern day Babylon or the Country called the daughter of Babylon in the scriptures. This is a young Country that has a mother(Britain) and will turn into Sodom and Gommorah. The sins of this Country will be great but for a time it would be a safe haven for Jews and they will prosper in this daughter of Babylon.

Is America the Daughter of Babylon?

6 “Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord. 7 “Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.”

-Zechariah 2:6, 7; Land of the North clearly reveals that the Daughter of Babylon is a physical Nation among the world associated to a direction where she lies. This Nation also has Zion held captive if Elohim is telling Zion to escape her. Also if she is considered a daughter, then this Nation will likely have a mother country she came from.

-Jeremiah 51:6–8; This Nation has sway over the whole Earth and the rest of the Nations, this indicates that she will be a powerful Nation among the world. She will be destroyed suddenly, this passage ends with a potential hope for her healing. Some may be confused that this could be talking of the ancient Babylon, go back and read verses 1–5 in this chapter, you will see that both Israel and Judah are spoken of in verse 5. We know that ancient Babylon took captive the Jews (House of Judah) but only the few remnant left of the House of Israel from the Assyrian captivity. The next time Israel and Judah are seen together is the end times, both of them captive in the Daughter of Babylon so we know this is an end time prophecy.

I read some of the book and it makes a great case that America is the daughter of Babylon. If it's not America, which other nation could be the daughter of Babylon?

The Bible also says:

Jeremiah 50:3 For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.

4 In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the Lord their God.

9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.

12 Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

It says this daughter of Babylon will have a mother(Britain) and it would be the hindermost(youngest, last of) the nations.

Here's what hindermost means in Hebrew.

achărîyth, akh-ar-eeth'; from H310; the last or end, hence, the future; also posterity:—(last, latter) end (time), hinder (utter) -most, length, posterity, remnant, residue, reward.

So this will be a great nation of immigrants towards the end times.

It also predicted terrorist attacks and there may be more devastating terrorist attacks on the horizon.

Jeremiah 51:1 Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

2 And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

3 Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

The NIV says:

51:1 This is what the Lord says:

“See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer
against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai.
2 I will send foreigners to Babylon
to winnow her and to devastate her land;
they will oppose her on every side
in the day of her disaster.

nor let him put on his armor.
Do not spare her young men;
completely destroy her army.
4 They will fall down slain in Babylon,
fatally wounded in her streets.

This is the Hebrew word for fanners:

zûwr, zoor; a primitive root; to turn aside (especially for lodging); hence to be a foreigner, strange, profane; specifically (active participle) to commit adultery:—(come from) another (man, place), fanner, go away, (e-) strange(-r, thing, woman).

To fan in hebrew means to winnow:

zârâh, zaw-raw'; a primitive root (compare H2114); to toss about; by implication, to diffuse, winnow:—cast away, compass, disperse, fan, scatter (away), spread, strew, winnow.

If America is the daughter of Babylon, we will be hit by more terrorist attacks before we're bombed by Russia, the Country from the North. On top of that, there will be viruses, horrible weather and food shortages.

The Bible says:

Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Everyone should read Matthew 24. This is Jesus telling that what we're seeing in the world today is the beginning of sorrows. I hear so many people saying, "Things just don't feel right" or "What's going on in the world." The Bible talks about the end times a lot but I would start with the words of Christ in Matthew Chapter 24.

I believe Christ predicted nuclear weapons that would kill all flesh. God is outside of space and time and saw that we would kill each other off with nuclear weapons so he shortened the days of Christ's Return for the elect's sake.

Jesus is telling us THOSE DAYS where no flesh can be saved. I believe THOSE DAYS ARE THESE DAYS. We're in those days of the beginning of sorrows but the Bible tells us that we're not to be worried when we see those things.

I do think America will see more terrorist attacks before we're attacked by Russia. I think Jeremiah 51 tells us this will happen to the daughter of Babylon(America).

The cross references in Holy Scripture are so abundant as to leave us without any doubt who is Mystery Babylon -- JERUSALEM AND APOSTATE ISRAEL.

Jerusalem is the Great City in the book of Revelation (Rev 11:8). She is Babylon (1 Pet 5:12-13), the Harlot that rode on the Beast's back (her alliance with Ancient Rome) before the Beast turned on her and made her desolate and burned her with fire (Rev 17:16; Lk.21:20).

Earthly Jerusalem, by Divine right and calling, was the preeminent city among all nations. The Hebrew/Biblical understanding of Jerusalem is that she is the "Chief of the nations" (Jeremiah 31:7; Ez 5:5), the Queen city of the earth (Lam 1:1/Rev 18:7). She, by Divine right and covenant, was appointed as the head of all nations (Deut 26:19; Deut 15:6; Deut 28:1,10-13), and the gentile kings recognized God's dwelling was at Jerusalem with the Hebrews (1 Ki 10:24; Luke 11:31; Ezra 1:2; Dan 2:47, 3:28-29, 4:1-3, 4:17, 4:34-37; Ezra 1; Ezra 4-7; Ezra 7:15,23).

The Governor of all nations (Ps. 22:28) lived in Jerusalem in his House (Ez 7:15,23), and all the kingdom, power and might over earth was His (1 Chron 29:11-12). Indeed, all kings receive their power to rule from that Divine King (Rom 13:1-2,6; John 19:11; 1 Pet 2:13-14,17; Ez 1:2; Dan 1:1-2; Dan 2:20-21; Dan 2:37-38; Dan 2:47, Dan 3:28-29; Dan 4:1-3,17,34-37.).

Yet, Jerusalem was also famous for becoming The Harlot City -- an unfaithful spouse to her King (Isa 1:21; Jer 3:6-10; Ez 16:37-39). She had become "drunk with the blood of the saints" (Rev 17:6; Rev 18:20,24; 1 Thess 2:15-16) as Christ had prophesied she would (Mt 23:33-37; Lk 11:50-51).

Sadly, the "great city," Jerusalem (Rev 11:8), had fallen, and had become the habitation of demons and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird (Rev 18:2). The Queen City Jerusalem (Rev 18:7/Lam1:1), which had been great among the nations (Lam 1:1), had become a widow (Rev 18:7/Lam1:1). And She, having become an unfaithful Harlot to God, was thus "burned with fire" (Rev 18:8/17:16) as her covenant law demanded for her (Lev 21:9). The blood of all the apostles and prophets who she famously killed (Matt 23:33-36; Matt 21:34-39; Lk 13:33; Acts 7:52; 1 Thess 2:15-16; Lk 11:47; Neh 9:26; 1 Ki 19:14) was avenged upon her (Matt 23:33-37; Rev 16:6; Rev 18:20,24; 1 Thess 2:15-16).

the harlot riding the beast changes from time to time, disposable in that fashion. Always drunk with the wine of God's wrath. If you see a nation or group of nations drunk with oppressing the poor and least of humanity, this is it.

Not America by itself .... Babylon represents all the apostate religious systems of the world. There will be one major religious system (mother) and has other religious systems (daughters) that will join with her.

America is one who has horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon (Revelation 13:11) ie a "fake christian nation" and makes an image to the beast (the one major system).
