I don't believe that the latter rains are for one denomination. The whole world is white for harvest. Afrida and China and even India seem to be having huge harvests. The USA is small and Europe is non-existant. We must be out in the fields gathering!

Big Mouth Nana knows that I half expected the rapture during Rosh Hoshanna this year. She rebuked me in love and she might even be granted a tiny snicker that her sister was so looking forward to that event. But preparing for it has changed me forever. I spent days reading the Bible, wrapping up my affairs, preparing in all sorts of ways. Since it DID NOT happen, obviously since we are all still here , I'm feeling compelled to do something to help with the harvest. That's the most important task we have to complete!

Well...in my way of thinking, there are still some things to happen before Jesus returns, so I didn't feel that Rosh Hashana was going to be a day any different then any other for me. I am sure that you were disappointed that it didn't happen, as we who are His are all looking forward to His return. I always rebuke those that I love, .

God is speaking to His church in a lot of ways these days. They could incompass everything that everyone has stated, even the word that you received. I was shown something today in all of Joel 2 that loomed out at me, but until I get verification that this is indeed correct, I'm holding my peace.

What do you believe regarding "Your young men shall have visions and your old men shall dream dreams"? And more specifically please, who are the old men and who are the young men? Sorry, maybe I should have put this in another thread.

HI HUBIE. Gee, I wish that I could answer this right now, but I can't. It is what God showed me in Joel 2 today, and regarding the former and latter rain. I have to get this clarified before I speak . I can tell you that it is pertinant, but to whom??? Yes, you are in the right place to ask this question.

I haven't recieved any visions or dreams from God but it is very much how you have discribed it. It's a combination of what I read in the word, what others say about this, and what I feel in my spirit.

I believe both the young and old men as well as the women are anyone who is open and obedient to the Spirit of God.

The later rain that is about to come isn't a simple one time event. It's a season of God's favor upon His people. It's also going to be a time of great revival not just in Africa but will happen globaly. It's going to be a time when many people will experience the power of God and God will freely give out the gifts of the Spirit. It's going to be a season where the message about His kingdom will be preached to all throughout the world.
Many believe that it has already, sorry but I don't believe this

Well, although I do believe that my state could see earthquakes, and they have been talking abut San Francisco lately, I feel that would be to obvious . I feel that a big earthquake is going to come to somewhere else not really known for them, or haven't had one in a very long time. The New Madrid fault in eastern and southeastern Missouri is a prime canidate.
In the winter of 1811-1812, a series of earthquakes occurred along the fault, destroying New Madrid and other towns on the frontier, and damaging St. Louis. Judging from their effects, three of the quakes were magnitude 8.0 or higher.

How to know something is not from the LORD God of the Bible:
it is vague, so anything can be claimed to have been 'it' when it happens -or
it is specific, and does not come to pass;
it does not bring focus on the Person and work of salvation of the LORD Jesus Christ in this Day of Salvation;
It focuses on something 'else': feelings, not facts, and fear, not peace, and never focuses on the finished work of salvation for all men in this day of salvation.

This message is not the kind of thing the LORD does.
He is specific.

He never gives false messages, or general messages to incite fear, and He is the Prince of Peace, who keeps one in perfect peace who's mind is stayed on Him, and He does not beat up His children with guilt, as if they aren't doing something 'right', as if some vague thing is missing from their actions and if they don't get it right, then He will crush them: nope! this is not a message from the LORD.
If a bomb drops tomorrow on the USA, this is still not a message from the LORD of the Bible, for He is specific, not vague, and does not keep His children in fear or turmoil or torment or guilt.

He said to occupy until He comes, and to preach the Gospel of the (coming) kingdom.
He came into this world to save sinners, and this is the Day of Salvation.
Bad things will happen and increase in happenings; and have happened since the fall; and only His return to rule in Peace will put an end to the bad and give rest to this world; but He keeps those in perfect peace whose minds are stayed on Him.

I'll agree with the part about keeping your mind stayed on the Lord and perfect peace, but the other I disagree with...Jude 1:20-23 ~ But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others SAVE WITH FEAR, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Now if a good old rousing end time message will save someone, I'm going to scream it from the roof tops. I got saved through fear. It is called HELL.
