There is a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. That Friend is the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though He is actually seated at the right hand of the Father in power and glory, He is mindful of you. He brings your needs and desires to the Father, and because the Father loves the Son with an unquenchable love, far greater than any love we could ever imagine, His heart is thrilled to answer any prayer that His Son brings to Him. The Lord Jesus knows what you have need of even before you ask Him, so He immediately goes to the Father and asks Him to meet all your needs before you even start praying. This is the greatness of His love toward you. Doesn't the Scripture say, "The Father Himself loves you?" Therefore He is not going to do anything to you, or send anyone else to do or say anything to you that does not reflect the greatness of His love toward you. Therefore love Him back with all your heart. Love Him for who He is, because if you set your love on Him in that way, all your needs will be met without you having to even breathe a single prayer for them, because through the fellowship you have together, everything you need pertaining to life and godliness will be supplied to you.
Jesus is the initiator of love, and gifts. He loves to give to those who have not yet asked. Never doubt or underestimate the love of Christ to you. His love was so great, that He came and was crucified for your sins, so you can be totally cleansed and made righteousness in the sight of the Father. You are so righteousness in Christ, that the Scripture says you are the righteousness of God in Christ. That means that the Father sees you as totally acceptable in His sight. Don't believe anything less. Don't believe those who would say otherwise, because they don't know the heart of God toward you.
You don't have to do anything to earn this love from the Jesus and the Father. All He wants is for you to return His love with love from your heart to Him. The person who has been forgiven much, loves much. And you have been forgiven much, therefore there is a lot of love in you to give back to the Lord. Therefore, walk in that love, walk in fellowship with Him, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and the love of Christ will be the basis of your ministry for Him.
