CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"Good afternoon everyone! How are y'all doin' today? Hope all is well!!!!!
Oscarr, so glad to see you in here! I can just sense a strong gentle/warm/loving Spirit inside of you also. I just saw a tree with roots just digging and digging and digging down into the earth soaking in the nutrients that are spreading all through the tree. Your Spiritual roots are going to continue to grow and deepen in this season that the Lord has blessed you with. You're going to just feel refreshed.Hallelujah!!!

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the conviction of things not seen. Moving out in faith is doing what you believe is God's will for you before you see any results. It is believing the Word of God spoken to your hearts by the Holy Spirit. It is taking that step in obedience even though you cannot see any pathway before you.
I sense that the Lord may with hold early results from your ministry to test your faith. Getting immediate results is not an indication that you are in the will of God, and not getting the results is also not an indication that you are not in the will of God. He will test you to see whether you trust in what you see and hear, or whether you will trust His Word to you. It is when you have gone through the tests of your faith, and the Lord is assured that you are moving in faith and obedience to His Word, and prepared to stand on His promises, regardless of whether you achieve outward success or not.
Faith does not depend on success, nor does it depend on what your natural senses tell you. Does not the Scripture say, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, and He will direct your paths?"
Therefore, remain obedient to your faith calling, whatever it takes, no matter what others say, negative or positive, and you will see the glory of God working through you in ministry to others.

It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Everything you have and are is due to Jesus working in you to achieve His purposes in your life. Your life is not your own, you are bought with the price of the body and blood of Christ. You are bound to do the will of God in your life. There are people waiting on the other end of your obedience. You will be led in directions your natural desires may not want you to go. Obedience to the will of God is not always pleasant or glamorous, but it is the way to bear fruit in His Name. Suffering and persecution may accompany your walk of obedience, but the Lord will go with with you to bear you up when your spirit gets discouraged and your knees get weak. Count it honour when others speak against you and question your motives and your direction. If you know that you are moving in the will of God for you, then He will vindicate you and make His enemies be ashamed before you.

God's grace is sufficient for you during this time. Without Him you can do nothing, nor can you be anything. It is Jesus who is working in you to equip you for the spiritual walk that He desires for you. You may be making your own plans, but He is guiding your steps, opening doors and closing others. Do not grieve for lost opportunities, because the Lord is creating your future, and there are many blessings there for you to experience. There are many challenges and heartaches as well, but these are there to teach you and to strengthen your faith, and to help you to trust only in His Word as the foundation of your life. Jesus is your life. Jesus is your Way. Let the Word of God be true for you, in the face of the words of others which are not reliable in comparison with His Word. Open your heart to the voice of God, and in following it, you will never be disappointed with the way He will lead you.

No weapon formed against you will prosper. Though your enemies may lay traps for you, the Holy Spirit will enable you to see them long before you are in danger, and you will be able to avoid them. The instruction is to be sober and vigilant because the devil goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. But as you stand clothed in the armour of God, trusting in Christ, and listening for His voice to guide you, He will lead you through the spiritual minefield, and you will not fall into any of traps that Satan or his team will have laid for you. Therefore don't be afraid of what the enemy can do to you, but look forward to the blessings that the Lord Jesus has for you as you obey His word and seek to walk in His light. Those who walk in His light do not walk in darkness. It is in the darkness that the traps and snares of the enemy lie unseen; but the light of God's Word and the glory of His presence lights up the ground all around you and you will plainly see the traps and therefore avoid them.
