Still at the Methodist church? What is going on there lately? God shaking things up still.....

I've been doin' GREAT!!!! Never better. What about you?

Yes, unfortunally I'm still at that Methodist church with my parents. lol. What's goin on there...Let's see Sunday the worship band played a U2 song (I'm appart of the band and I refused to play the secular songs because the Holy Ghost told me not to play that...I told the girl over worship and she said it was perfectly fine that I step down when they played the secular stuff). The worship band also played Amazing Grace but the chorus to Amazing Grace was the chorus to an EAGLES song!!! It was horrible...I didn't play the chorus just the true Amazing Grace stuff. There's a new pastor their and during worship Sunday morning the pastor's wife just started raisin' her hands and dancin' a little. It was quite shocking really. Hmmmmm....I don't think you know that I had a meeting with the associate pastor about beliefs and stuff like that. I asked her all sorts of questions about beliefs of the Methodist church. Let me tell ya...they are liberal.

Ummmm...I think that's all. It's just Spiritually dry. I mean SUPER dry in that church. I miss my Pentecostal church very very very VERY much. I still talk with the Pastors over there.

Ok I think I've rambled to much. lol. SORRY!!! haha.

wow!...........Nothing lasts forever remember that......If things are not changing, things are not changing...........I know who is in control at the end of the day, and perhaps you are there for just a season...........OR..........who knows, much more brother.

Hey there ANM ...I guess we've been just missing each other on here, but howdy and pray all is well with you.

And, Mr. G...I'm with you on that I miss my pentacostal church too..but I know that one day...I "am" going to be a preacher...if takes me the rest of my life...I "will" serve Him daily no matter the situation! Amen!

Who knows...maybe the Methodist church you are in...and please don't judge them as liberals...maybe our Lord is just showing them "they are not living under the old comandment laws and that HE just wants to see...maybe some of what you bring...JOY IN THE LORD...instead of mourning Him"...soooo....maybe that is why you are there..to bring in something that they are lacking! Amen! Be patient...YOU know HE is a watching and you'll know when HE comes there to this lifeless church, amen! And, rambling...you haven't read somethings I have written elsewhere..and you don't even come close! your sis, hannah

I'm a little shocked that the worship band wants to play secular songs, i've never heard of that in my life. However there was one time I was at a church and they played 'Everything' By Lifehouse, I think that's a little different though, because it was used to worship God. Anyway, now i'm rambling hahaha.

Ya' know when I read about Josh's problems with the music..I too was surprised to hear a church using secular songs?? Weird....But, then there have been a "few" songs I wouldn't mind singing in church like "Going up to the Spirit in the Sky" an oldie but goodie, and Jesus is Just Alright with Me..by if I remember right..Moby Grape..also an oldie but goodie, kinda dating myself...but those came out during the Jesus Freak movement, and ya' I be one of them. But, I did think it odd that they are using secular songs, and then to use an Eagles song to sing Amazing Grace???...Oye, what's next? They'll be singing marilyn manson songs next???

So, what's new down under? Man, if there was anywhere in the world I would really like to visit it would definately be AUSTRALIA!!! I just love when I get to see travel programs and they take you there...it just looks sooo beautiful...and I love that mountain in the middle which if correct is it called the "Red Heart of Australia"? I'm dreaming I'm sitting there with you! Ahhh, sooo nice!!! hannah

LOL!!! Well, yeh, sadly I remember Moby Grape, old as methusala here! But as far as remembering who sang what and titles...I'm glad I remembered two! And, I'm glad that song was done by the Doobies...that was what I was doing back in the day! Whoops, giving away my secrets...which we all know God saw and corrected in me, amen!

So, thanks for helping me to keep stuff straight, and the only reason I remember Spirit in the Sky...was cuz Norman Greenbaum was my best friends cousin...I kinda was sad that he never explained why he wrote that song...I could have saved years of drug od's and other major problems that came with all of that stuff!

But, if not for drugs...odd as it may seem...I may "never" have come to HIM! So, what do you say..."thanks Lord for letting me get involved in drugs so I could find You"?
