2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Co 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Just sharing a thought on those two verses. we should know the freedom that only Christ can give- where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. Praise God!

V 18. I think of this as beholding in a mirror “reflecting” as well as “looking into.” We are meant to behold something of the glory of the Lord, the veil has been rent in two, we are to be continually transformed into the same image by the Spirit of the Lord. We with ever-increasing glory, are to reflect what we behold, to become more and more like our Lord.


Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,


Philo says, “What the eye is to the body, that is the mind to the soul;”


The desire here is that the eyes of your heart and mine are enlightened. The heart refers to the whole inner man. The soul has eyes that need to be and can be enlightened, flooded with divine light. The Holy Spirit opens our eyes and hearts in order that we can see something of the glory of our Lord. The purpose of spiritual illumination and spiritual perception is that believers may know and experience God’s calling, inheritance, and power. The hope of his calling is from Him and summons us to Him. It is a call to a victorious new life in Christ, through Christ, for Christ, and with Christ. It involves perfect deliverance and perfect fellowship. We are called to herald in the Kingdom of God in all it's fullness, we are to take the full gospel of Jesus Christ out to the people around us.

Did you back off on medication? Is that why they swept in yesterday like that? Just trying to pinpoint so you can eliminate as much of the suffering as possible.

I am so glad you know nothing can stop Him from loving you. Nothing!

You must have Moriah confused with someone else, Cindy. Moriah does not have a medical condition. Other than a few dental problems.

So am I understanding this is a combination of demonic influence (2,401), and a medical condition, possibly b/c of them?

Ohhhhh ... no no no you misunderstood. It used the "chronic pain" scenario as an ANALOGY ONLY. Trying to illustrate a point by using an analogy -- not trying to say it has a medical condition itself.

Sometimes though, people think they cannot, when really they can. I know I've said "I cannot" at times when what I really meant is, "It's too hard."

That would be you, Cindy. Moriah bes not that type of person. Moriah bes the kind of person what tends to be way way way harder on itself than others bes on it. When Moriah says cannot, it literally means what it says and says what it means. Just as surely as Moriah will tell you it cannot lift a tank or perform delicate brain surgery. And even the latter it knows could change if it had 12 years and $200,000.

I have a few words for some people in here.

Let me pick on Irene first. lol.

Irene,

There is such a strong anointing of God in your life. People who see you see not you, they see what is above up in Glory. I don't know if you're doing this right now or not but the Lord wants you to share your writing with a group of people. Not online (haha) but He wants you to share it with like a small group out of your church. It's like there's a group of people who are around you and you are just reading your work to them and there is such a strong presence of God in that place.

Also, you just have such a strong love for the Lord that's like a virus. It can spread. It's just awesome. The Lord is still working working on you but as He's working on you you're going to feel a much stronger presence of Him and more of that Glory you've been drinkin' on! Hallelujah!

Today has been well a slow day for me, haven't really had anyone to talk to, so for for most of the day I have been just listening to music and relaxing. Sunday I am leaving to go to a leadership conference, which is good I think I need to get away for alittle while lately I have been unsure about just about everything. Hopfully being there will help me think striaght and that I will come back alot happier and alot sure of who I am , I hope even through it isn't like a church conference or christian inspired conference, it will still give me things I can use within that feild and all.

Godslilgurl- I'm going to go ahead and confirm what howarddean said. The Lord wants you to REST in HIM. *heard same thing Rose did* He's your everything. His arms are wide open for you to just jump in them and just hug on Him. Hallelujah! Oh..and lay your burdens down.

Thanks for that word HD, it truly blessed my heart, I am going to try harder to not worry and just rest in him, thanks Josh as well. I think right now I am just going to relax(here on this thread and in general, just going to listen to some music and just sing to him).

His Word is sharper than a two edged sword, and will divide and conquer. When you speak the Word, it's put into action. It's not enough to read it. Speak it out aloud, and faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Saying things like "I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus", "I am blood bought", "I am heir to the Kingdom of God", "I am hidden with Christ in heavenly places", "I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me", "I am an overcomer by the blood and the Word of my testimony"...
I believe that if you do this, several times a day, you will see even more of a breakthrough. Scripture states that the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, it gets brighter and brighter.

and, in relation to your daughter..
the blood of Jesus Christ has drawn a line between what was and is, and Moriah, you have the power within yourself to stand up and say "My daughter will be different, she is a child of God". The word of God states we have been given power over the enemy, to tread upon snakes and scorpions. The power lies in what we speak with our mouth. Our tongue is what guides our life.

What good does that do when the entire testimony of the congregation bes arrayed against you? When all mock and maliciously misjudge and slander your name and invent lies concerning your character, your intentions, the nature of your words or deeds, your very motives??? Come Body of Christ, speak LIFE to Moriah and not death. Speak LIFE and not death. Speak LIFE.

I do and will speak life to you Moriah.

I say to you that you are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
I say that you are born of God, blood bought and forgiven of sin.
I say you are more than a conqueror through Christ.
I say you Moriah can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength.
I speak life to you, not death.
Speak life over yourself. Take one baby step, Moriah, one more step. I know within yourself you are straining and crying out to take that step, ..He's there waiting to meet you. Moriah is crying out for freedom. In Christ there is perfect freedom and liberty. In Christ there is therefore now no condemnation, for the law of the Spirit, of life in Christ Jesus, has set you free, from the law of sin and death.
I know you can do it, Moriah.

WE ALL speak the Word of God over you, but you must speak the Word yourself. The Word coming from your mouth is the Sword that will divide.
I love you and know you can do this, Moriah.
Be brave, and be strong, be of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you.
