I would have prophesied that you'd be disappointed in the practise thread...but..well..too late.

I guess I am a bit disappointed. I came in here 2 days in a row and asked if anyone had a word, to be totally ignored. I guess I shall move on. Thanks for your time....or well...lack of.

Sorry I have just seen this, haven't been around so much lately. I will pray and ask the Lord for more but I am sharing this Psalm and poem with you.

Psa 27:1 THE LORD is my Light and my Salvation--whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?
Psa 27:2 When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Psa 27:3 Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.
Psa 27:4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
Psa 27:5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock.
Psa 27:6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
Psa 27:7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me!
Psa 27:8 You have said, Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]. My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word].
Psa 27:9 Hide not Your face from me; turn not Your servant away in anger, You Who have been my help! Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!
Psa 27:10 Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].
Psa 27:11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me].
Psa 27:12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me; they breathe out cruelty and violence.
Psa 27:13 [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!
Psa 27:14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. Amplified Bible

MY DEAR CHILD

“Come and drink from the fountain of life,
Living waters are gushing forth bringing refreshment,
I want to give you such an abundant life,
You are thirsty child, come enter my tabernacle tent.

Bring all your worries and concerns to me,
Your struggles and anxieties I can see,

I prayed for you and others here but wasn't led to say anything.
You can't force God , if He doesn't give us a word we shouldn't make some thing up.

Glad you're doin' great! Yeah I didn't know what I was going to change my to either. lol. Then I decided to put some Bible verses and then the last part that says, "Have you got it like the Bible says?" Is a song that I was listening to by Pastor Tommy Bates. Just took a few little pieces of inspiration and volia a signature! haha.

Thanks oh okay I thought about something to add to my singature but I can't remember the exact words of what I read, it was inspired by a bible verse, I remember a part of it though.

Hello, that is wonderful to hear, I will be praying that the revivial will be one of the best you have ever seen in your life. I pray that God continues to move within your church and have has way, I pray he will bless thoses that come into the place whether looking for healing or looking for strength, I pray that miracles will take place and that he will touch everyone that walks through those doors.

First off, I would like to say that I am proud of you for leading a man to the Lord I pray the Lord brings back to your rememberance exactly where he lives and even brings back the details that were on the paper, I pray the Lord leads you into his direction once again I will be keeping you as well as him in my prayers

Hope everyone is having a beautiful day, I will be keeping you all in my prayers.


I am happy to say that I did get a goodnights sleep and I thank God for that, I also thank him that I had peaceful sleep and even a peaceful dream, I couldn't remember all of the dream but the part that I did remember brighten up my day and made me smile, the part that I do remember was seeing was powerful which was a man(all took place in a church building) was speaking/talking into another man's life, then I saw the man just starting to praise God, I mean really thanking God and it was like in the dream I saw me, standing in the back of the church, just like...wow....you could tell that the man was praising God from his heart.


That is something I am remembering on today and something that has touched me, I am happy to say that my realtionship with God is growing, Over the past few nights I have been having some really good talks/prayer time with Jesus. Both nights I have feel asleep while talking/praying. But I espically like praying at night, sometimes I seem more focus and in tune and harder for me to get distracted by things around me.

I didn't see it either. Sometimes I am silent because I don't have a word to give, but I do pray for people at the very least when I am here.

I understand your disappoint too, having felt it at times. I think the enemy stirs things up, trying to get us to pull away too soon. Sometimes too I think I should be looking to the Lord more. But that's me personally. I sense right away when I look to people more than the Lord.

We do need one another. We are a body, Jesus being the head. I love you, though I do not know you yet, and pray the Lord meets you at your need. May He give you wisdom, a word of knowledge, and peace regarding the things that concern you. I pray He abundantly meets your need, as He is disposed to such acts of kindness and mercy. May He lavish you with His love.

Something else just came to mind. Sometimes I get a word, a random word, and give it. It is open to anyone who receives it. It may be for one, or many. It does not speak to everyone always.

And then, I'm really not here too much. I am when I can.

Hello everyone,
I know I've been busy and left you all for a time, and I "am" sad about that, I can imagine how much I have missed reading! And, yawl know...I wanna read it all. But, I see that everyone seems to be doing well, and everyone is helping each other...and you can't beat that...cuz only God can work through us...when we let Him, amen!

Nice to meet Cindy and Lily, I don't think we've met before...and may you find Hope and Encouragement here, amen. Be blessed, and praying I'll have some time this weekend to just be able to sit, chat and even maybe participate!

I have some pretty cool news to share. Last night at band practice, yes still the Methodist church...lol, I was reading the service outline for Sunday and I was reading under the brief prayer after the worship and it said, "Josh" I was like, "Is that me or some other Josh I don't know." LOL...They said it was me. Then the girl over worship said, "Josh, if you don't want to that's perfectly fine, just let me know." I said, "Don't worry about it. I love praying. I have no problem with praying in front of everyone." Out of all the people to pray they pick me, a teen-ager to pray...which hasn't happened before...hmmmmmm. hahaha.

I was talkin' to one of my friends last night and I said watch me start praying and be like, "Oh Jesus, shay la ba..." LOL. Start speakin' in tongues at a Methodist church outloud like that...Oh yeah! LOL...That would be great. lol...

Oh! and I have a meeting with the associate pastor sometime, most likely next week about church beliefs and personal beliefs. Oh yeah! That should be interesting. LOL. I'm going to mention to her what the Methodist church used to be like and what it is now and how liberal they are today (well not in those exact words...lol)

Josh,

When in Rome, do as the Romans. If you are going to be a part of the public worship service in a particular church, it would be wise to do so in a way that the persons there are comfortable with. Each of us is entitled to our own beliefs, but engaging in behaviour which is not accepted in a particular congregation will only cause strife.

Rest assured that you are not the only person ever to confront these sort of issues. If you feel that the accepted church positions are at odds with your own beliefs, it may be prudent to find a different church.
