  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good morning/evening (11pm here) Hannah!

I've had a nice relaxing day today. I didn't have uni and I just had a nice quiet day at home. I've been reading Todd Bentley's book called 'The Reality of the Supernatural World'. It's such an awesome book, i'd recommend it to everybody!!!

I could do with some prayer about my mission trip to Mozambique next year. My family is not keen for me to go while I am still studying. The trip however, takes place in my long uni holidays and would not effect my studies whatsoever. My extended family is also extremely against me going because of how dangerous it is over there and how many diseases I could catch.
On the other hand, I have a huge desire to go and feel like God wants me to go. I also had a prophet prophesy over me that at a young age I was going to go to a third world country and carry broken children. I really need the support of my family because I am going to have to loan some money off them to pay for the trip. I have been trying to work whenever I can, but I just don't think i'm going to have enough money on my own.
I am trusting that if God wants me to go, he will get me there, but it's all a bit hard to deal with at the moment.

Thanks! Yeah, something else about preaching. It's going to happen a lot sooner than I thought. This time, not in a church. Outside of church. One of my friends (He's going into the Youth Ministry and has a calling to become an Evangelist) and myself are starting up a Bible Study. It's about time we started one too! LOL. I told him, months ago, that we needed to start one but we never did. I knew God would do this to us now. We are going to get together, probably today, and start prayin' and planning about this. I can't wait! We want to get teenagers to be on FIRE for Christ and to quit living a double live and have a life just for Christ. I'm so excited because we are going to take turns preaching/teaching (after we get more people in our Bible study). HALLELUJAH! Church on the other hand, I have a feeling that's going to happen soon...just have to talk with the Methodist preacher (that should be interesting...LOL...now can you imagine me preaching at a Methodist church yelling, speakin' in tongues? LOL Oh Hallelujah!)

Yes, I could see you as a traveling preacher! That would be amazing. We need the old tent revivals back! :clap:

Will be in prayer sis! Don't say you don't think you're not going to have enough money. Words are powerful. Instead of saying that say this, "I'm going to have enough money to go because of my faith in God. I'm going on this mission trip."

That sounds so exciting too. I can just see you know surrounded by a lot of kids and telling them about Jesus. Oh Hallelujah! I'll have to check that book out too. Sounds really good! :D

I thought someone on here may have heard of her! The Bakers have some awesome books, I just read 'The Hungry Always Get Fed'. She visited my church a couple of years ago and she's really inspiring, she has such an anointing about her.
