The Bible says nothing about the moon being self-luminous. The physical evidence indicates that it isn't. There's nothing 'magical' about moonlight or its properties.

So when in the Bible Genesis 1:16 states that God created two great lights. Looking at this picture science based christians are saying the Bible is saying in Genesis 1:16 that those are both created lights. Now that is what is called Biblical interpretation based on science, and not letting the Bible interpret itself.

The event where the sun, moon and stars and their lights are put out is the second coming. No heavenly light will be allowed to compete with the Light of The coming Messiah, who will ascend out of the clouds, where He has been waiting with the raptured church during the seven year tribulation.
So with a Messiah coming out of the clouds at the end of the tribulation, how will people all around a globe see The Messiah. Only on a flat earth can that happen.
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? Others here have should verses about the moon as a light source... Here is some of the many many sites that show biblical support for FE..
An atheist once had quite a long argument with me.. stating that the bible states a flat earth and if I believed the bible.. I must take that view.
Many atheists have rebuked the FE.. as everyone does when they first hear about the new interest..
However, they investigated and in their quest for truth.. ended up believing it is flat and then.... for that reason.. discarded their evolutionary views and are now solid Christians.

There should be light all around the moon at every phase, if the moon is a sphere lit by the sun because the moon is always in a full moon phase.
But no, only during a full moon or close to a full moon, is light seen being emitted all the way around the edge of the moon.

Oh come on now, that's the very evidence that shows the moon is not self-luminous. In each phase of the moon when it is not full, it is not directly opposite the sun with respect to the earth. In the picture below, the moon is being lit by the sun with the sun to the right. That's why half the moon is not lit.
Come on now nothing, your science states the sphere moon is lit by the sun. That means the sphere moon is always in a full moon stage. So even in a new phase light should be seen being emitted around a new moon.
But light is not seen, why because the sun does not light the moon and the moon is not a sphere.

I don't know if you're doing this on purpose or not but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. If the sun, with respect to the earth, is positioned to the right of the moon, then only the right side of the moon will be lit when viewed from the earth. Why should it be lit all the way round if the sun is not shining on the surface that is facing away from the sun?
