How so? Does having a political career inevitably corrupt people? If so, why wouldn't it corrupt Trump once he becomes President?
Oh yeh, THAT's a more accurate guide!
The economy...and the financial management of EVERY department.
I'm sorry, but unless you are the head of the World Bank or the National Association of Manufacturers or are Bill Gates posting here under an alias, I consider this kind of assertion to be patently absurd and of no value to the discussion. It's not more scientific, but it's definitely true in this case. If you look at it, ignoring any bias and considering just the facts and their implications, then you find that he really is a fool.
You say you trust Trump to balance the budget. Let's see how plausible that is:It's a balance sheet, and a good deal verses a bad deal, for Trump. We need that right now.
The government can have an effect on the economy, good or bad, i.e. Freddie/Fanny, etc..The economy is not exactly a government function.
If you run departments as a business how would one go about maximizing profit while minimizing loss? My whole issue with running government as a business is that they perform two very different functions that do not necessarily translate well.
Well your take on Trump's terms may not, but I would consider that is not all there is to it. I believe he would look at the cause and effect of taxes verses government spending, and make improvements on the business model, the formula. He plans to tackle one area a week, applying sound business principals, until he has run the gamut of government head to toe.Right now, the deficit is $583 billion. Like I said before, Trump wants to cut taxes, so he must want to balance the budget entirely by cutting spending. He also wants to expand the military and leave Social Security and Medicare alone. Since the military, Social Security, Medicare, and interest on the debt make up around 80% of the federal budget, we spend about $737 billion on everything else combined. Subtract veterans' benefits too (which I assume Trump doesn't want to cut since he says he'll "fight for veterans"), and it's $576 billion--which is less than the deficit. That means we couldn't balance the budget even if we spend zero dollars on everything Trump hasn't stated he won't cut, and that's if we don't cut taxes or expand the military like Trump wants! It's impossible to balance the budget on Trump's terms. In fact, the deficit would have to increase.
Lol it's just arithmetic! If you think I made a mistake, do the math yourself and show me how I'm wrong!Well your take on Trump's terms may not, but I would consider that is not all there is to it.
I hope he's willing to do at least one second of research, so his "improvements" aren't based on lies, rumors, and things the voices in his head told him. He doesn't have an amazing track record of distinguishing fact from fiction. For my part, I won't trust the judgment or research skills of anyone who thinks the Chinese invented global warming.I believe he would look at the cause and effect of taxes verses government spending, and make improvements on the business model, the formula. Maybe you should put your trust in someone that hasn't had businesses file for bankruptcy 4 times. Trump's business sense is... not that great, honestly.Well your take on Trump's terms may not, but I would consider that is not all there is to it. I believe you are referring to the "job" of government, as opposed to the management of resource, etc. The "job" of government isn't concerned with profit...but the management of government departments should be concerned with losses. There is way too much waste at taxpayer's expense. "Good enough for government" ought to be good enough for business...but it's not, it's a cliche and a joke.
Could the guy who's dominating Republican polls (and people who lean Republican approve of by two-to-one) be dumber than a sack of bricks? I think so!

You left out 90% of the numbers. The federal budget, is not the countries budget. You just mentioned the hotbutton issues, and left out everyday life and the business of living: by the people, for the people. No wonder your numbers don't add up.Lol it's just arithmetic! If you think I made a mistake, do the math yourself and show me how I'm wrong!

If Trump hates the "cause" of autism, which is what it sounds like...you might rather like him.As someone who is autistic, I am kept awake by the very real possibility that Trump could become the next President.
You have no idea how much this scares me. The man considers us an epidemic, which more than certainly aligns him with Autism Speaks, another organization which hates us immensely. He also thinks vaccines cause autism, which means we'll see increases in preventable diseases.
I don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, hate Bush or Obama, etc. Please do not support Trump. He is a violation of civil rights waiting to happen.
I can only imagine he hates us, and wants to kill us.
