I personally don't need proof. If you have proof then why do we need faith? The whole point of being a Christian is that we believe in something no-one can see. It is only when we are a Christian(or sometimes otherwise if needed) God will reveal Himself to us and we walk closer with Him.

I just read bits and pieces of the first article. While I agree with therockreturns in that faith is crucial in our relationship with Christ, I think the points that the article brought out are quite wonderful and could prove to be a witness to those who struggle with their faith. Great job bornagain!!!

we need sound doctrine to strengthen our faith.

but also, if your having doubts, you need to pray and seek the Lord, true life in the Spirit of God is not attained by working any mental or physical faculty, life is imaparted and simply given by the holyspirit, it comes from meeting with him and hearing from him and living in him for yourself.

ive never been as stable in my faith as i am now, and it just came from my relationship with him getting deeper. i wont be moved, because i talk with him and walk with him and he talks and walks with me, it isnt about anything you can learn or memorise.
im not criticising this post, i just want people to find the true life and power of Christianity, and it isnt found in the minds of converted sinners.
