Just a quick question?
Say i made a promise to God not to do something, but i now realise i shouldn't of made this promise, but i realise sometimes i do these thing and thats the way it is and avoid it as much as possible, but when i do them i feel condemmed,
is there a way to "get out" of this promise or will i be held to it becasue i made the promise to God? and need to ask for forgiveness every time?
i know im washed clean and the sin that what i did in terms of sin is remembered no more but what about the promise? what does this mean?
is it gone or still around?
should i be more focused on i am righteous and yes i admit i do these things but i will not be held by them even though i didi mae a rash promise?

The blood of Jesus covers broken promises and broken vows. There was a price for sin in sacrifice in the Old Testament, but the price has been paid forever through the sacrifice of Jesus. We cannot sin willfully and expect to get away with it, but all mistakes (sins) are forgiven to those that confess their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. We learn as we grow to not make foolish vows we cannot keep. God knows our frame and loves us.

Leviticus 6:4 "‘Or if a person thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil—in any matter one might carelessly swear about—even though he is unaware of it, in any case when he learns of it he will be guilty.
5 "‘When anyone is guilty in any of these ways, he must confess in what way he has sinned
6 and, as a penalty for the sin he has committed, he must bring to the LORD a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.

Ps 103:14 For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

Ga 6:7 Don’t be misled. Remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow!
