Progressive lenses are horrible to read through. I had mine changed. Actually, my last pair is just for seeing far away. Taking off my glasses to read is so much easier.

I got mine a little less than two months ago...loving them so far. I did splurge on the lenses with the most viewing area/least distortion so perhaps that's why I haven't had any problems. Maybe? I still get aggravated with super fine print and take them off sometimes. lol A friend's husband said he tried progressive contacts but hated them--apparently one eye was geared for reading close up, the other for distance vision. Sounded bizarre to me. He also said both his glasses and contacts made him dizzy if he turned his head too fast. Yikes.

I need them badly...

Better than looking under or over my glasses as I did for years. Young guys at work used to get a kick out of that. Only drawback is reading on high shelves in stores lol. Hard on the neck
