Progress Report

Hi all,

Just wanted to give an update on Amanda.  (for those who don't know, she is my wife, she was paralyzed in an accident on June 17th.)

She is progressing amazingly.  God is healing her and giving her more strength every day.  She is gaining more use of her arms daily, and is even able to support herself with them to sit up.  She put a shirt on by herself tuesday.    She still has not regained her grip in either hand, nor any feeling in her lower body.  But, God is working, and we see progress daily.  He is wonderful!

Thanks again for the continued thoughts and prayers.  We truly appreciate all of you.

How are you holding up dewjunkie? How is your other daughter doing?

I am holding up o.k., so far.  I have been insanely busy, so my days disappear.  I was transferred to lake Mead so I could work near Las Vegas while Amanda is in rehab, but now am going to have to go back home.  I have to start remodeling our house to make it accessible.  That is going to be difficult (the not seeing Amanda everyday part).  It will also be difficult to go home and spend prolonged periods of time in our house without Caira.  The place won't be the same.  Just keep praying for me, please. 

Chloe is doing very well.  She doesn't remember the accident, and is a little confused by everything, but overall she has been wonderful.  She is staying with my parents while we are in Vegas, so we only get to see her a couple days a week.  She still asks where Caira is, which is a hard question to answer to a 2 year old. 

We are coping, and Amanda's progress is making it easier.  God is working miracles, and everyone's support is incredible.
