Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA)- 2022 results

Every three years the Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) organises a series of standard tests for 700,000 plus 15-year-olds across 80+ countries.

The tests, known as the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), assess student’s reading and mathematics abilities along with science skills and knowledge and includes surveys related to factors affecting education. The result is a broad evaluation of the state of education in each country along with comparisons between countries and OECD averages. Many countries use PISA as a tool to measure progress/identify problems in their education system.

2022 PISA results were published on 5 December 2023. This is a link to the PISA website and the 2022 Report.
