I see a difference between profanity, obscenity and scatology.

Preoccupation with obscenity about excrement or excretory functions?

What makes a cuss word a cuss word?

Easy. When the Holy Spirit convinces you it is so.

...And why would the Holy Spirit convice you a word is bad?
Is it not more how the word is used?
Or are you convinced that a word with a definition is in and of itself "bad"?
If so, why?

I always love the pictures of my wife when she wins a dog show.
We all know what females dogs are called, and dog people use the word openly. I always kid my wife when she wins and the sign says.
