I have a problem with my dad. He is old and stubborn and hot-headed. He gets angry and yells at people, over the phone and in real life. He hates lies and dishonesty. He especially hates slick fast talking deceptive salesmen who try to scam him, pull all kind of tricks to get his money. I hate that too, I think everyone does. He has a low opinion of preachers, pastors, because he thinks they are corrupt, greedy, swindling. hypocritical, extreme.... He also hates republicans and Donald Trump. He says Trump lies with every breath he takes. Dad says Trump is an agent of Satan.


So, I am wondering, is my dad a bad influence on me? He gets grouchy, he openly speaks his mind, he can be funny and he is good, moral, honest. Dad is reading the Bible. I do not know if he is praying.

Well, all politicians regardless of affiliation are agents of Satan, or susceptible to worldly influences. The far-left, and the far-right can easily be controlled with money and greed. However, not all preachers, pastors and politicians are bad. Tell him to look up Francis Chan. He is a humble pastor.

Your dad sounds like a good guy, but he might have a temper issue. As long as he is not influenced by woke ideology, he is okay.
