It may be that you are growing close with girls that do not love the Lord or are not equally yoked with you. Any time I have begun dating and the girl does not value a solid relationship with God, it begins to screw up MY relationship with God. I have learned to not spend one on one time with women unless I plan to actually "pursue" here. That means starting a relationship with the end goal as long term relationship and marriage ultimately. Just dating people is not good for us spiritually, in my opinion. Just re-evaluate the types of girls you are growing close too, and see if that helps. If you are involved with Godly women and it is still happening, maybe God has called you to be single. Whatever the case, remember that God has an awesome plan for you no matter what.
