  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Anybody else here pro wrestling fans? I watch WWE, Impact Wrestling, and Ring of Honor.

"Pro Wrestling" has nothing to do with the Grecian-Roman form of wrestling (collegiate) and has turned into a soap opera...I pay it no heed.
If it could go back to the days of the "Missouri Mauler" then MAYBE I would watch it.

I don't watch it anymore but I still get frequent detailed updates from my husband who follows it weekly (recaps online), mostly just Raw now; back when we had cable we watched all of them and wrestling trumped any other show ^_^

There used to be a huge thread here devoted to wrestling, but I can't find it now. Yep, it's a dead link now. I used to watch wrestling as a kid, but I grew out of it. If I happen to catch it while channel surfing I might stop, but I eventually cringe with embarassment :o for the wrestlers/announcers and turn the channel. WWE has really poor writers, the vast majority of wrestlers need to go to acting school, but I still love the WWF of the 80's

Speaking of wrestlers, Hulk Hogan got an acting gig that he can actually be proud of! He plays a small part in Gnomeo and Juliet :D You'll know it when you hear it brother! It's great when you see him come up somewhere unexpected!

I watched it when I was younger but I've grown out of it. Plus everybody says today's wrestling is stupid anyways. My favorite wrestlers as a kid were Tito Santana and Sgt. Slaughter. The last time I followed wrestling was when WCW had the NWO and Steve Austin and the rock were popular in the WWF. I think it was 1998?

Is professional wrestling even appropriate for the sports forum? hahaha. Should be classified as amateur acting or an equivalent rather than a sport.

A sport is defined as an athetic event, what they do is athletic and it's an event. it's also predetermined. So it technically meets the criterion of a "sport".

I watch WWE and TNA weekly, and I've been to two TNA house shows (WWE hasn't been around for 3 years or so, sadly)
Really big wrestling fan, I keep with the dirt sheets and buy the annual THQ WWE video game.
WWE Fave 5 in no particular order- CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Christian, Sheamus, The Miz
TNA Fave 5- AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, Rob Van Dam.

I absolute LOVE AND ADMIRE Women's Wrestling, AND the women wrestlers.

I luv the WOW, WWE, and all the womens wrestling networks.

Even if its acting, I luv it.

Those women are in fit shape.

Besides even if they act, its GOT TO GET REAL SOME OF THE TIME.
Lets say some contestants mis-calculate or overacts her part and draws a temper from the other actor/opponent, dont you think a REAL CAT FIGHT is what will get? Maybe she had a bad hair day, or just plain hates that other woman's guts, dont you think its going to get a little bit personal?
