Are the privacy options for site visibility working properly? There’s no way to determine if it is. The username appeared differently before. Can we bring the brackets back or something else? Thanks!

It’s working Bella. There is a switch at the bottom that you can turn on and off. If it’s not working, you’d see the switch is black. I think it should look light gray to keep your current privacy settings.

Never mind. I have no idea. Just discovered that was for display setting. *shrug*

I clicked several profiles that states member limits who can view full profile. Yours is one of them. As far as people seeing you are on the board, visible/invisible. Not sure but I assume that’s something you could look at in your account settings.

Thanks Michie. I can’t tell if I’m visible or not on the sidebar (members online). The name was different when you were hidden. Now it isn’t.

I just checked members online. I did not see you or I there. I assume our previous preferences are still the same. Can you get your name back to its previous blue/green color?

so just so I understand if I see my name as a member online then everyone can see? I don't mind people viewing my profile page, but I have always preferred to have privacy when I am on line. When I saw this thread. I did go to my privacy page and saw that my selections were the same. Just to reboot them if necessary I redid them and resaved them but still see name on line. It seems in the past it was grayed out maybe. But don't see that now, so just wonder if this feature is still working?

No. You can see it but others can’t. I think that Bella still has her privacy settings. Those that do not use the invisible mode, you can see a round circle with a head in it with a green background to the right a little below their username. At least I think I got it figured out. But as always, good chance I’m wrong. But seriously, I think that’s it.

I can see the name when you post but I cannot see your name on the list of members online now. Plus you do not have that green circle to the lower right of your name. I think your safe.
