Priestly Orders

Does anyone know the other priestly orders and what they stand for???

I know these...

Salesions - Youth;
Fransicans - Poor;
OMI (Oblates of Mary Imaculate) - Missionary

Dominicans - ???
Marians - ???

That's all I know of so far... anybody else know any

Dominicans - ???

The Dominicans are the Order of Preachers. Their charism is preaching and teaching/academics within the Church. They're a great bunch!

Jesuits - social justice
Benedictines
Carmelite
Cistercian

There are different kinds of Franciscans too:
OFMs
Capuchins
Conventuals
Friars of the Renewal - on EWTN/Fr. Benedict Groeschel

There are other orders too, but those are just the ones that come off the top of my head.
