The same. You say BOM --and all of JS writings--- are of God---we say they are not. Scripture says they ar not for they do not follow what the scriptures say. Not one oif his bizarre theories are mentioned in the bible. His is not of \god, so you are free, of course to believe whatever you want. When the Holy Spirit has been ignored, after a while, He is grieved away.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Can you tell me what Jesus did to protect us from your 2Th verses?

Obviously he gave us the Holy Spirit to help guide us in the truth.

He also gave us the office of the apostles. That was a very important ordination by Jesus before he died. So here is the scripture that tells us all we need to know about why the apostles are so important.
Ephesians 4:11-14 King James Version (KJV)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

So verse 11 Jesus declares that he gave us apostles and other church offices.

Verse 12 tells us why he did that.

Verse 13 tells us how long he intended these offices to be around.

Verse 14 tells us that it is this organization, especially the apostles that would protect us from your 2Th verses. So look for a church that has these offices. The Holy Ghost will also be present with these men.
