  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can you tell me where we could find a priest to say the Latin mass and who might be willing to move to the North Dakota or Minnesota area with free room and board? We would offer him our entire downstairs which has everything but the kitchen sink.
I know if we had a priest in this area that it wouldn't take long to build up quite a catacomb parish. Unfortunately Traditional priests are few and far between as are Traditional Latin Masses.

Thank you for any help and advice could give to us on behalf of all the faithful in our area on locating a priest. :help:

Check unavoce.org for more info on the Latin Mass. However, first your local Diocese must authorize the Latin Mass in your area. Not too hard, but if you run into opposition, make sure to quote Ecclesia Dei, and respectfully ask that your Bishop follow the Pope's instruction on the matter.

Next, if you can't find a priest, perhaps your local Diocese would be willing to fly in a priest from FSSP to teach the local clergy how to perform it.

Just a thought.
