Priest resigns after 20-year-long semantics error rendering baptisms invalid

There are many priests in the US for whom English is a second language. Others who minister in Spanish--their second language.
A Mexican-born priest i know can't get through a homily without at least a half-dozen mistakes.
Might this happen during sacramental rites as well? Probably. Neither his intent nor his fault. He came here as a teenager.

This isn't going to help those that call miracles magick and such when they seem to require specific words for the 'magick' to work.
