  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

James 1:9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

Isaiah 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low:

Amen SpiritIntruth, I was just sharing upstairs how even a messenger of Satan can keep you in a state of humility and weakness lest one should be exalted above measure.

Sort weird though if you think about it, He whose condemnation is pride (shows in the same) a messenger to keep one from his own... "lest I be"... "there was given me"

interesting though:thumbsup:

Even though I myself had recieved this same messanger in the flesh, which also did bring humility through chastisement, and correction through many stripes.

It would not be until the Lord had revealed his Son in me by way of the Holy Spirit that I saw the error of my ways, and the goodness of His Grace.

In this I understood, it was His Mercy that would prevail over chastisement, and it was the Love of God that turned me; more so than the power of correction.

I agree with this, its His goodness and mercy that is so key bro, when we were in the flesh (and no flesh can please Him) we can do nothing, we cannot even bring forth fruit of ourselves (left to ourselves) but its by His Spirit bro. We can only do so out of that which we have, not out of what we dont have, what a glorious gift He has given us to be partakers in His divine nature, Who by His power is able to subject all things unto Himself, making us able in Him.

That the power be of God and not of ourselves, the working of His glorious grace even by His great mercy toward us in Christ Jesus.

Bless you brother
