PREVIEW: CF Character... you get to WEAR your Armor of God... ;)

I bought converted armor for it to wear, but it doesn't show up.

It will be a couple of weeks yet before the characters are available. There are a few bugs to fix yet, plus a lot more armor to convert

I believe a body will run you 100 blessings.Individual features will also cost you.

the people that have their characters already are merely part of the Pixel Pushing brigade creating the art or staff trying out the charcters testing them for bugs and stuff.

It's kind of funny when the characters are loading up, they're in their skivies and then suddenly all their clothes show up.

Because of the load delay, Erwin's character's belt has a cross on an inappropriate place. Can that piece of armor be redesigned so it doesn't do that?

Hi Domi!

I'm one of the people working on the armory conversion. We needed to see the characters so we can work on the clothes, armor and special items. Now that the characters are mostly working ok, Erwin decided to demo them for members by making the ones we've set up visible for everyone.

But, things still need work, so that the new features work right ALL the time, before the character features can be made available to everyone.

I'm really looking forward to seeing all the characters on posts when everyone has one!

I checked it out myself, and see what you mean.

I THINK they should kind of fix that too.

I just read this entire thread, and might have missed seeing an answer to this, but will it be possible to display an item without having a character?

They look great, and it is obvious that you all have put a lot of work into this .... so please don't take this as a complaint. I just wondered if that would be an option for some who prefer a simplier display for our own posts. I miss my heart shield, and banner of love.

I don't think that will be possible (i.e., you need a character in order to equip items), but your heart shield and banner will be converted, along with everthing else.

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't know enough about the graphics and coding to know if it was possible.

I just have to say, my new silk robes have arrived and I really like them...thanks to all of you for your hard work. Lots of other items are looking great too...

I have a request for something new when the time is right.

That's one of the faerie dresses. Both are in the armory now, so you can look at them
