If you are elect, (God foreknows you as His child), you are chosen by God, ( predestined to come to Christ for salvation and not destruction), to be sanctified (made Holy acceptable in the beloved), by obedience to the gospel of Christ, (your gonna believe in Christ) and sprinkled with His blood. (be forgiven all of your sins and be sealed in the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of your eternal inheritance)

Your obedience is known (you left Egypt), you are called (the sea opened), you are washed (water from the Rock) but not all of you are clean (most of Israel did not believe, become clean) so only a few are chosen (Joshua and Caleb) to enter Rest (the real Promised Land, Christ, of which Canaan is only a type).

Not everyone who comes to Christ are predestined to do so.

Unless there's someone who's saved that isn't predestined to be conformed to Christ's image, you are mistaken.

We are predestined to be confirmed once we come to Christ. We are not predestined to come in the first place. At least not everyone who comes is. I do believe God can and does predestine a select few to come and I think he also predestines a few not to, both are done for a distinct purpose of God.
