I love pretty anime pictures; I find clipart and edit them on my compy to make them prettier! I don't have any favorite shows or books, I just really like the art form.

I'm very outgoing and my friends would probably freak out if they knew I really liked this stuff. It makes me angry because a lot people at my school think it's just "freaks" or "goths" or whatever that like it, and it's not true at all. Anybody else know about my position?

Just act really enthusiatic about it. Act like it's the coolest thing going. By doing that, your friends will probably catch on a bit.

You could probably get away with wearing an anime t-shirt. They're popular pretty much anywhere!

If they don't like it, whatever. The fact that you like it shouldn't define you. If they judge you because you kind of like anime/manga, they aren't very good friends.

Real friends are the ones that will be your friend even if you aren't doing the "popular" thing. (This reminds me of why I hated high school.)

Don't let what other people think of you.. limit your actions for hobbies and such..
