Trump isn't lying according to this definition of the word "genocide".
Genocide is defined as the intentional and systematic destruction of a group of people based on their national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity. It involves acts like killing, causing serious harm, and deliberately inflicting conditions of life that are intended to destroy the group, or imposing measures to prevent births within the group.

I sense something very spiritually dark in this thread. The extreme hatred of anything related to Trump overrules everything, no matter what. This is evidenced by our apparent inability to agree that murdering people and calling for the murder of people is wrong. And the reason that we cannot agree about this is because Trump is the one who said it.

Nothing of the sort is going on.
3,000 murders in 30+ years isn't a genocide. Not out of a population that is estimated at more than 300,000.
There's no indication anything other than a tiny minority of these attacks (about 2%) are based on national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity. There's no indication of intentional or systematic destruction of a population.
There's no indication that white South African farmers are being murdered at a rate that is statistically greater than black South African farmers. There are indicators that their murder rates are lower than the population at large.
The reason that white South Africans are disproportionately affected by farm attacks is that white South Africans disproportionately own farms in South Africa.

In a controversial decision, the Supreme Court of Appeal ruled that it wasn't hate speech. So unless you're suggesting that the government ignore court rulings, there's not a lot they can do about it.
It should be, but there have been mixed results when taking it to court. People in stadiums scream for a lot of things, so a link would first need to be shown between things like that and the "white genocide".

We don't hate Trump. We hate evil. We acknowledge that black South African civilians have killed white South African farmers. We are appalled that our own government, led by Trump, commits atrocities against people who might--or might not-- be undocumented, shipping them off to brutal overseas prisons without due process.
