  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A co-worker told me that occasionally she'll see someone, sometimes a stranger or sometimes a friend, and she might see an image of them in the future. It's something that comes to her naturally, she doesn't try to learn fortune telling or anything.

She told me an image that she saw of me. Most of it was good, but something wasn't positive, depending on how you view it. I usually take these things lightly, but I hope what she said wasn't true.

This woman professes to be a Christian. I don't know if I could take it as a warning, perhaps I should make some life changes to avoid this from happening, if it means nothing, or if it will happen to me in the future....

Any thoughts on this??

It's possible that the Lord may have given her visions. Check these verses out:

Joel 2:28-29
And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

Acts 2:17
In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.

That woman professes to be a Christian, but does she acknowledge that Jesus is Lord; the risen Son of God? If she does not, then don't listen to her.

In anything that you do, make sure that you do it with God in your heart.

What are these visions that this lady is having? What would you consider possibly not positive?

Before you make any decisions, pray about it. I would be hesitant to do anything based only on what she said. Ask yourself if there are other good reasons that you should make the life changes you mentioned.

The Biblical test for a true prophet / false prophet is 100% accuracy. Keep that in mind.

I didnt know that about the 100% accuracy test in the bible.

But wow, thats super weird. I guess Im a skeptic but I wouldnt take too much heart in it. But then again, Ive had that happen to me. I was about to move away to a foreign country once, and one of my mom's friend said she saw that it wouldnt be a good move and recommended me to stay. I should have taken her advice because I ended up back at home.
