  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Good thinking, but notice that I only was talking about the Calvinist view of predestination. You probably think that I was talking about open-theism. If you don't know what that is, here's a link: http://www.carm.org/open.htm. Because you're such a huge mark, here's a link to a thread on open-theism which I was recently involved in: http://www.christianforum.com/t84276&page=1.

God IS omniscient (all knowing). He knows what happens in the future, but he doesn't change our free will of accepting Him or not. The Calvinist view is that some of us are destined to heaven, while some are destined to hell; someone cannot accept Christ if they are predestined to hell. The truth is, we are all destined to heaven. It is our job as Christians to spead the gospel to all who don't know Jesus, so that they may know Him.
