CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I missed the pre-orders. The Best Buy store by me opens at midnight for the launch. I just hope I get one.

Best Buy starts issuing tickets at 11pm for the PS3 and they open at midnight an hour later.
The lines will be for the tickets not for the actual PS3 and I'm looking to be there around 8pm or earlier.

Just roll someone in the parking lot afterwards. Get the receipt out of their bag, give them the money and take theirs.

At this point, there are about 150 people outside of Circuit City, more than 24hrs early for only 100 PS3s.

I wish I had a Wii.........I am in a chat room with someone who does...right now....and they are telling me about how awesome it is....like they are playing it, and then they chat with me every few minutes about its greatness....it just makes me want one soooooo bad.

Hubby and I have pre-ordered a Wii and Twilight Princess. The shop we pre-ordered from is opening at Midnight on launch day (8th December here) so we'll be queuing up outside.
