For some reason I have a problem with praying. If I think about praying or it just randomly pops into my head I have to do it no matter what I'm doing. For instance when I'm in band and we're in the middle of a song I'll still have to do it. Normally I'll think or mouth " Oh my lord and savior oh Jesus Christ please forgive me and please help me oh lord Jesus." But most of the time not just once, but multiple times until it "feels" right I guess.
It's not just with praying it's also reading the Bible. If I've not read my bible yet and I'm about to do something, normally I read it around 11:30 pm, I have difficulty sometimes making myself wait. Though I suppose reading it earlier is no harm but still.

Am I supposed to fill this way or different about this?

Train yourself toward the Lord's prayer, or something specific that you want to be praying. It doesn't sound like something you can control, so you might as well relax and do it.

Start memorizing some verses like "He surrounds the righteous with favor, like a shield."

Or "nothing can separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus."

It's great that you are eager to read the Bible and keep Him continually in your mind. Next... expect that He is listening to all these prayers! And He appreciates it.

Speaking of that, I made up a prayer that I say at least twice daily. It's made up of all the things that I normally pray so I don't have to constantly remember them.

I do this, too. I like to pray for all the people I love in the morning so that way I'll remember to.

But just remember the Lord is always with you. I don't think this is so much a problem unless it comes down to "if I don't say this, God wouldn't be happy with me" because then that's a problem. Jesus loves you, and you don't need to pray in specifics for that. But if you just feel a need to talk to God, then I think that's okay.
