Praying for healing

Hello. Run into something the other day.
A fellows older father was dx with cancer.
He was asking everyone to pray for God's
Will. He did not want prayers for healing since that would be selfish. For almost
Everyone we ask that they be healed and
That the Lord be with them and their
Family......did I miss something somewhere ?

I don't recall any place in Scripture that we are considered selfish to pray for our healing. Jehovah Rapha is our healer

I don't have a problem with it. Ya can't go wrong praying for God's will
