Ephesians 6:12 tells us:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Because of this constant struggle, praying effectively for the best success is vital. The need for efficacious prayer is especially true during this season of upcoming elections, which are critical to the future direction of our country. I don’t believe I am overstating it when I say that these elections will, among other crucial issues, affect whether America will remain strong in sending missionaries across the globe in obedience to God’s Great Commission. Given that biblical command, it is imperative that committed Christians be praying for an outcome that glorifies our Lord and specifically that more believers will win office.

The importance of these elections cannot be overemphasized.

To be effective, we need to examine how we can be our best at prayer and in prayer, not only for the outcome of the elections but also for the outcomes of our lives. But what does it mean to pray effectively? The Bible provides the answer.

In this study, let’s take a close look at how we can elevate our prayer life to a greater level!

I think our prayers cancel each other out because we have a lot of people praying for Harris and Trump. I believe God will choose leaders that will fulfill his end times prophesy. Unless we ALL wake up and follow Jesus' teaching about loving neighbors will only stop the wars and killings but that will never happen and thus we a marching to the destruction of mankind.

Prayer never cancels...

We pray "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done" and again, "nevertheless, not My will Lord, but Thine be done"

There's only One Will, and it's that we pray for.

But this thread is about elections. Is your prayer for Trump going to win over Fantine's prayer for Harris as president? God is not a respecter of persons or parties. If it is God's will to place someone in authority why do we complain about it so much in these forums?
