  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yes, a prayer journal is a wonderful exercise for focusing your heart and mind on God's plan and for sharing with Him your hopes, worries and gratitude. You would do the same with a good friend, and in addition to being our Lord and Savior Jesus is also the best friend we will ever have.

In my personal walk I found that I needed to keep a separate note listing important insights, promises made or advice on how to overcome persistent weaknesses. Although these often were originally written in my journal, keeping a separate note helped me focus on those important ideas on a daily basis.

May God bless you, calmius.

I do this too. :) And I often go back and re-read them and make notes in the margin about how God answered that prayer, and sometimes the new insight as to why he didn't answer it with a yes. So many times, people think God doesn't answer their prayers but he really does, it's just difficult sometimes to reflect on how he answered it because the mind often forgets how you prayed.

Sometimes I write down my prayers but at others I dont because some things that I pray for are a bit personal and I wouldn't want everyone looking at them. But when I do, I pour out my soul onto those letters. It just depends on how into it you get.
God Bless,
