Why does Christ fail?

He has never , no never, not ever, not even once failed.
People fail a thousand times a day perhaps more.

What should I do? Should I give Christianity more last chances?

No, or at least not necessarily. Keep seeking the Creator, no matter what.
Whoever seeks Him, and continues to seek Him, will find Him -
no person's promise or guarantee, that is HIS PROMISE.

Should I stop seeing my family?

Yes, if it interferes with seeking the Creator, and from what you said in op it might.

I've offered him everything, my life. I only ask for compassion. I know I don't deserve anything

"only ask for" - does that mean your offer of your life is conditional ?
Note you say right away you don't deserve anything (as if anything good from God).
That is true for all men,
but all men do deserve death - it is the penalty, right and just penalty, for sin.
